Winterburn
Curing The Plague
EP

Winterburn are 5 guys who hail from Swansea Wales, UK. They have been around since 07 with some line-up changes along the way but have managed to come through with some strong thrash metal material. Their 3 song EP / Demo ?,  consists of  fairly desent and memorable music. A solid if not insightful offering as to what this band have to showcase. "Too Late For Tears" starts with a drum roll and then it's full throttle ... this sounds really good as some chunky guitar riffs and pile driving vocals rip through your skull in an attempt to cause blunt force trama. "White Feather" is an up-tempo tune with percussions that are dead on. This is one that will probably be a s a
Crysys
Demonsthrashion
Demo

Crysys are what I would call "Ultra Thrash", meaning they are everything that you would expect in a thrash band. High energy speed oriented thrash metal with heavy aggressive riffs and fiery solos combined with an accompaniment of snarled hell bent vocal chops that screech through your skull while the bass guitar and drums find that round vivace groove and formal overall speed to plow you down. With Demonsthrashion you get 3 songs that by definition reek of
Kaos

Kaos come from an area known for producing some of the best thrash acts in history. They have an assault of demos and two full length releases behind them since the late eighties and now with their latest  release "The Pits Of Existence" they are receiving praise that has been long overdue and greatly deserved. Kaos is very relevant in todays metal strongholds and as much a part of the bay area scene as those legendary bands from a time long ago. With so  many bands resurging as of late or new ones inspired by the old school style Kaos have remained true to themselves and true to the genre without sounding dated.
KAOS - THE PITS OF EXISTENCE

The Pits Of Existence serves up a fresh kick in the teeth with  old school bay area style thrash with maybe a touch of hardcore punk influences finding their way into a couple areas. A classic sound that shows a great deal of diversity and  creativeness while taking some liberties and pushing the envelope of extreme metal.      The Pits Of Existence - REVIEW
Evil Shepherd
History Of Violence
Demo 2008

This band from Belgium have been together for only a short time and yet manage to forge a very solid offering. Made up of (Tomminator - Bass)  ex-Hyena (Wesley - Drums / Jonah - Vocals) and ex-Wreckage (Maes - Guitar) members, these guys put their talents and thirst together and come out with one hellish nightmare of a release. Hellish nightmare in that this is not something you give to your average 10 year old for Christmas because it will surely scare the hell out of

staple in the bands live set list for years to come. "Wedding Ring" ilittle more typical sounding in that I've heard it many times before. The sound does not suck by any means, just that it doessn't do anything for me. Overall it's hard to get a complete feel for a band with only three songs but 2 out of the 3 are enough to say that this band are really good. Reminds me a bit of old Sepultura www.myspace.com/winterburn
