SPIRALARMS
Spiralarms are a band that is true to the bone . They blend equal parts passion and soul to come up with a most diverse look into the realm or artistic expressions. In this modern world of rock it so hard to write music that is real , untainted and not part of any trendy coorperate bullshit, but that is exactly what Spiralarms have managed to do. With each of Spiralarms songs you experience something unique and special , something you'll remember for decades to come, like the smooth dirty sound of "some people" the dynamic "wheels fall off" and the signiture tone of "gettin gone". With their 7 song demo release "Sol Musik" they set the stage for what few bands have the balls to attempt let alone accomplish. Formed out of the ashes of Oaklands Forbidden / Manmadegod , Craig Locicero has pushed forward in a never ending quest to create music for the soul . Joining him on this quest are ex-Systematic vocalist Tim Narducci, ex-Machinehead drummer Chris Kontos, bassist Chris Lombardo and keyboard player Brad Barth. Spiralarms have already opened for Velver Revolver and continue to write great song after song while working their way to their debut release.
In 2004 Manmadegod disband - Craig Locicero, Steve Jacobs and James Walker reform along with Tim Narducci as their frontman. By 2005 they are writting with a new found energy and release the demo "Sol Musik". Shotly after Steve Jacobs sustained a shoulder injury preventing him from playing. In steps Eric Kretz of Stone Temple Pilots. Not only does he lend his drum talents but also produces for the band. Gigging again and showcasing in L.A. the band were looking to find that perfect balance. Then James desides to step down and the replacement process starts. The weeks go by searching for a new bass player - While Eric was tending to his studio in L.A. Craig andTim continue writting, Tim filled in on both drums and bass while Craig played the guitars. Chris Lombardo joins as the new bass player and fits in perfect with his power, groove and tone. Eric, still working on project commitments and unable to drum for the band so top notch drummers fill in for a while and among them ex-Machinehead drummer Chris Kontos who now is a full time member. Finishing out the group is Brad Barth on keyboards the lineup is now set and the writting process moving along effortlesly. All there is to do now is eagerly await the debut release and support the band live.
