Glen Alvelais has been part of the metal world for quite some time. He played with Forbidden Evil and Testament, two of the best thrash bands to ever come out of the bay area. He has done material in between these outings but are only in demo form, LD/50 being one of them. LD/50 is the abbreviation for leathal dose @ 50% and was started by Jeremy Colson and Glen Alvelais. They got together and wrote some songs and then sent them to Clark Brown (Geezer) and things took off from there. Oddie Mclaughlin came in and completed the lineup. They set up studio time to record a six song demo after only jamming together for one week. They played a couple of club dates but nothing amounted. Steve Digiorgio then entered the picture and another 6 song demo was recorded. This time the vocals were done by native Dan Sanborn.
