Suicidal Angels are a thrash metal band from Greece that yield a brutal blend of fire and steel. From the darkest reaches of hell Suicidal Angels have emerged to lay claim to the great sword of thrash and reek havoc to all non believers. This band are one of the very best bands of modern day that still have an authentic thrash sound without sounding dated or cloned. If you are into bands like Slayer, Destruction and Kreator then you have to give these guys a listen. Thier latest release "Sanctify The Darkness" is nothing breaking new ground but it sure as hell is something to be reckoned with. Suicidal Angles play a simple but brutal style of thrash and do it with conviction. These guys know who and what they are and give it to you straight without smoke and mirrors. Prepair to be slain.

I've followed this band since "Armies In Hell" and one thing is for certain, they are one of the best thrash bands out there with a pure and honest sound. They have continued to perfect their skills and with their latest album "Sanctify The Darkness" they truly have arrived. This disc is a dark, more than aggressive offering of essential exploration.
