Absentia are a Symphonic Death Metal band from Oviedo, Spain: Founded in 2004 by Julian Diaz (vocals / guitar) and David Barrientos (keyboards) and rounded out with Ian Alvarez (bass) and Manuel Moran (drums). With two full length albums (Heaven Still Burns 2009 and Our Bleeding Sun 2011) this band are essential to take note of and with out doubt, worthy of band and album of the year.
